Join us for a unique Seed to Supper experience that celebrates the incredible journey of sorghum – an ancient grain embodying renewal, rebirth, and transformation. On July 18th, from 6-8 pm, Central Stem and Utopian Seed Project invite you to a multi-course dinner crafted by renowned Chef Terri Terrell. This thoughtfully curated menu will explore sorghum's versatility and significance, offering a truly memorable culinary journey. Your participation directly benefits the Utopian Seed Project.

The Utopian Seed Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to exploring and promoting regional agrobiodiversity in Western North Carolina. They responsibly grow, research, educate, and celebrate a wide range of crops and varieties to support diversity in food and farming. Through "hands in the earth" work on experimental farms and outreach initiatives like "Trial to Table" dinners, their vision is an engaged community that embraces regional biodiversity for a resilient, delicious, and equitable food system in the face of climate change.

The Highlands Mansion is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting a historic 1796 Georgian mansion and its magnificent 18th-century gardens. Located just outside Philadelphia, its stunning architecture, lush landscapes, and rich history provide an elegant and unique backdrop for our "In the Spirit of Sorghum" dinner.
